Jamshedpur, Jan 4: The plummeting minimum temperature across Jharkhand will take a break as IMD’s Ranchi Meteorological Centre predicted a rise in Celsius from tomorrow.
According to a bulletin issued by IMD’s Ranchi Meteorological Centre the minimum temperature is expected to witness a 2-4 degrees Celsius rise in the next two to three days
According to weathermen, the formation of clouds due to the impact of a Western Disturbance passing through northern parts of the country would result in a rise in minimum reading
The Ranchi Met Centre also extended the alert of shallow to moderate fog in isolated places across Jharkhand in the next two days.
Ranchi today recorded a minimum temperature of 7.9 degrees Celsius while Jamshedpur recorded 9.7 degrees Celsius.
According to Met statistics Daltonganj, the Palamu headquarters today recorded a minimum temperature of 7.8 degrees Celsius while Bokaro notched 9.1 degrees.
Deoghar and Jamtara today recorded minimum temperatures of 10.2 degrees Celsius while Lohardaga recorded the state’s lowest minimum temperature of 6 degree Celsius today.
North-westerly wind was dominating over the state today.
