Jamshedpur, Jan 23: IMD’s Ranchi Meteorological Centre hinted at a drop in minimum temperature by 2 to 3 degrees Celsius from this weekend, Saturday.
No significant synoptic condition prevails over Jharkhand today.
The induced cyclonic circulation over West Rajasthan lies over Haryana at 1.5 Km above mean sea level. The cyclonic circulation over southeast Rajasthan at 0.9 m above mean sea level persists.

According to the forecast, the minimum temperature will continue to rise till Friday, thereafter it will witness a fall due to the dominating north-westerly currents.
Statistics reveal that Ranchi today recorded a minimum temperature of 12 degrees Celsius while Jamshedpur recorded 12.8 degrees and Bokaro recorded 11.2 degrees Celsius. Daltonganj today recorded a minimum temperature of 11.8 degrees Celsius.
Gumla today recorded the state’s lowest minimum temperature of 7.8 degrees Celsius followed by Chatra which recorded 8.6 degree Celsius.
