Jamshedpur, Dec 19: IMD’s Ranchi Meteorological Centre issued an alert of dense fog in isolated places across Jharkhand during the next 48 hours.
According to forecast, dense fog would occur at isolated places over north-western and adjoining central parts of the state early in the morning on November 20, Friday.
On November 21, Saturday dense fog would occur at isolated places over north-eastern, central and southern parts of the state.

The Met centre also predicted cloud cover and light rain in isolated places after the next 24 hours and rise in minimum temperature by 2-3 degree Celsius in the next 72 hours.
The minimum temperature hovered around 9 degrees Celsius in Ranchi and its adjoining areas today. Bokaro too recorded around 9 degrees Celsius today.
The local Met observatory in Jamshedpur today recorded a minimum temperature of 11.5 degrees.
Many places today recorded minimum temperatures of over 10 degrees Celsius today.
