Jamshedpur, Dec 3: Brace for cold as the minimum temperature is expected to witness an abrupt fall across Jharkhand from tomorrow.

The impact of cyclone Fengal would completely wane by tomorrow, said Weathermen adding that this would result in plummeting night temperatures due to restoration of cold and crisp north-westerly wind.

According to a forecast issued by IMD’s  Ranchi Meteorological Centre clouds would prevail in most districts across Jharkhand today.

The Met centre also issued an alert of shallow to moderate fog for the next two days.

Weathermen ruled out the possibility of rain. Weather conditions would be mainly dry over Jharkhand in the next few days.

Ranchi today recorded a minimum temperature of 14.6 degrees Celsius while Jamshedpur recorded 17.4 degrees Celsius.

According to Met statistics, Daltonganj today recorded a minimum temperature of 12.9 degrees Celsius while Bokaro recorded 12.2 degrees Celsius.

The local Met observatory in Chatra and Garhwa today recorded a minimum temperature of 9.3 degrees Celsius while Hazaribagh recorded a minimum temperature of 10.8 degrees Celsius.

Lohardaga and Pakur recorded minimum temperatures of over 12 degrees Celsius today.
