Jamshedpur, Feb 8: The minimum temperature witnessed a further drop across Jharkhand with Chatra today recording the state’s lowest minimum temperature of 5.5 degrees Celsius.
Khunti was the second coldest place across Jharkhand with Celsius at 6.9 degrees today.

Ranchi today recorded a minimum temperature of 11.8 degrees Celsius while Jamshedpur recorded 12.2 degrees and Bokaro recorded 10.1 degrees.
Daltonganj today recorded a minimum temperature of 8.3 degrees Celsius. Deoghar recorded a minimum temperature of 10.9 degrees Celsius while Dhanbad recorded 7.5 degrees and Garhwa recorded 7.1 degrees.
No significant synoptic features prevail over Jharkhand.
A fresh Western Disturbance seen as a trough in the lower tropospheric level with its axis at 3.1 Km above mean sea level runs roughly along Long. 55°E to the north of Lat. 30°N.
The forecast suggests mist in the morning and mainly clear sky later.
According to Met prediction, no large change in minimum temperature will occur during the next 24 hours over northern and central parts of the state while it will fall by 2-3°C in the next 24 hours over southern parts of the State.
The minimum temperature is expected to again witness a gradual rise by 3-4°C from Monday in the entire state.
