Jamshedpur, May 6: IMD’s Ranchi Meteorological Centre today issued an alert of thundershowers at a few isolated places across Jharkhand.
Today’s forecast suggests hot day conditions at isolated places of Saeraikela-Kharswan, East Singhbhum, West Singhbhum, Garhwa and Palamu districts.
Hot and humid day conditions are likely to occur at isolated places in north-eastern parts of the state.

Thunderstorms and lightning accompanied by gusty wind (max wind speed: 30-40 kmph) is also expected at isolated places over north-eastern and south-eastern parts of the state today.

The forecast suggests a fall in maximum temperature after the next 24 hours.
IMD also issued an alert of isolated hail at Ramgarh, Bokaro, Dhanbad, Jamtara, Dumka and Deoghar districts of the state tomorrow, May 7.
Thunderstorms and lightning accompanied by gusty wind (max wind speed: 40-50 kmph) are also expected at isolated places over the state tomorrow.
