Jharkhand wins three medals at 31st Junior National Thang-Ta Championship

Dhanbad, Dec 26: The Jharkhand team won three medals, including a silver, at the 31st Junior National Thang-Ta Championship held at Navin Chandra Bordoloi Indoor Stadium, Guwahati, from December 22 to 24.

Ranjit Keshri, President of the Jharkhand State Thang-Ta Association, said that the state had fielded a 14-member squad for the national championship.

Ranchi’s Kaushiki Singh clinched the silver medal, while Dhanbad’s Kashish Kumari and Palamu’s Rehan Kadri each won bronze medals.

The Association’s patron Sunil Singh, along with President Ranjit Keshri, General Secretary Manoj Sharma, Treasurer Anil Tulsian, Coach Mamta Pandey and several members congratulated the medal winners for their outstanding performance in the championship.
