Dhanbad, Oct 11: The annual Techno-Management Fest “Concetto 2025” of IIT (ISM) Dhanbad opened with great enthusiasm on Friday evening at the institute’s Penman Auditorium, marking the start of three days of innovation, technology, and creativity.
DGMS Director Inaugurates Tech Fest
Padarthi Balakrishna, Mechanical Director, Directorate General of Mines Safety (DGMS), Dhanbad, inaugurated the event as Chief Guest.
In his address, Mr Balakrishna praised the energy and ingenuity of IIT (ISM) students, urging them to apply their technical expertise to solve industrial and social challenges and drive innovation with purpose.
Leaders Emphasise Innovation and Teamwork
The inauguration was also attended by Prof. Dheeraj Kumar, Deputy Director; Prof. S.K. Gupta, Dean (Student Welfare); Prof. Alok Das, Dean (Innovation, Incubation & Entrepreneurship); Dr L.A. Kumaraswamidhas, Associate Dean (Hostel Management & Students’ Welfare); and Prof. Himanshu Bhushan Mishra, Convener, Concetto 2025.
The dignitaries highlighted that Concetto provides a platform for students to showcase creativity, technical excellence, and teamwork—key ingredients for leadership and innovation.
