Jharkhand’s star badminton player gets job offer from Indian Audit & Accounts Department

Dhanbad, July 5: One of the star players of Jharkhand, Emmanuel Jaimashi Kujur of West Singhbhum, has been appointed as staff in the Indian Audit and Accounts Department Thiruvananthapuram (Kerala) field office.

Emmanuel Kujur has to join by Aug 3

As per the appointment letter issued by the Deputy Accountant General (Administration), if Emmanuel Jaimashi Kujur accepts the offer, he has to give a joining report at the Thiruvananthapuram field office on August 3, 2024, one month from the date of issue of the job offer.

One of the most promising players of Jharkhand Emmanuel Kujur is a regular player of the Jharkhand badminton team representing the state. He is the men’s doubles champion of the state. He won the title pairing with Vinay Kumar of Seraikela in the Jharkhand State Championship held at Ranchi in November 2023.

Emmanuel Kujur represented Jharkhand in SGFI national championship

He represented Jharkhand in the School Games Federation of India (SGFI) national championship held at Gwalior (Madhya Pradesh) in June 2023 and was a member of the state team which participated in the East Zone Inter-State Badminton Championship held in Kolkata in August 2023.

Emmanuel Kujur is a regular student of champions producer Residential Badminton Training Centre (RBTC) Ranchi and takes training from ace coach of state Bharat Kumar Shah.

Job offer will give a feeling of life security: Coach

“He is a promising young player of state and has the potential to go a long way in this field. However, a job offer from the Accountant General (AG) Department would encourage and give a feeling of life security to Emmanuel Kujur and other badminton players of the state who have devoted life to the game,” commented Coach Bharat Kumar Shah.

Ranchi Residential Badminton Centre has the credit of sweeping most of the medals in state men’s, women’s boys and girls’ championships every year.
