JAMSHEDPUR, Feb 13: The electoral momentum in Jugsalai has intensified as campaigning for the Jugsalai Municipal Council elections enters its final phase. Naushin Khan, candidate for the post of Chairperson, stepped up her outreach campaign across key localities, drawing a strong response from residents.
Accompanied by her husband, Hidayatullah Khan, Chairperson of the Jharkhand State Minority Commission, Naushin interacted with voters and appealed for unity and collective development.
Addressing gatherings, Hidayatullah Khan urged residents to remain united. “Do not allow yourselves to be divided in any manner. Stay united and strong. Naushin will always stand by you and dedicate herself wholeheartedly to your service,” he said, drawing applause from supporters.

Women-Centric Outreach in Millat Nagar
A major outreach programme was held at Golden Marriage Hall in Millat Nagar (Ward No. 10) under the banner of the Tamanna Anjum Mahila Group. The event saw a large turnout of women who discussed key civic concerns.

Residents raised issues related to sanitation, drinking water, road infrastructure, and public welfare services. Responding to them, Naushin Khan said, “If given your mandate, my priority will be to strengthen basic civic amenities and ensure governance that is accessible and accountable.”
Support Pours In from Harijan Basti
Later, at Harijan Basti on Purani Basti Road, the campaign took on a vibrant tone as youths and elderly residents gathered in large numbers to express their support.
Many residents said they want practical and approachable leadership. “We want a representative who stays among us, understands our daily problems, and delivers results,” a resident said.
The visible enthusiasm among women and young voters highlights a dynamic electoral atmosphere in Jugsalai, with development, infrastructure improvement, and responsive governance emerging as key issues.
Thanking supporters, Naushin Khan said, “Your trust and encouragement are my greatest strength. Together, we can build a cleaner, stronger, and more progressive Jugsalai.”
