Pune, June 3: Kedar Jadhav, the Indian and Maharashtra cricketer, announced his retirement from international cricket on Monday, marking the end of his career.

39-year-old Kedar Jadhav played nine Twenty20 Internationals and 73 One-Dayers for India after making his debut in an ODI against Sri Lanka at Ranchi in November 2014.

“Thank you all For your love and support throughout my Career from 1500 hrs. Consider me as retired from all forms of cricket,” said Jadhav while announcing his retirement in a post on X.

Known for his unconventional off-spin bowling with a low-arm action, Jadhav also took 27 wickets in ODIs, maintaining an economy rate of 5.15.

In the Indian Premier League, right-handed Jadhav played for several teams, including Chennai Super Kings, formerly Delhi Daredevils, the now-defunct Kochi Tuskers Kerala, Royal Challengers Bangalore, and Sunrisers Hyderabad.

He was a member of the Chennai Super Kings squad that clinched the IPL title in 2018.

He has played 95 IPL matches. In 81 innings that he has batted, he scored 1208 runs which includes four half-centuries.
