Kripa Bhatia wins U-14 girls’ singles Jharkhand Tennis Tournament

Jamshedpur, Jan 25: Kripa Bhatia, a promising young talent from Loyola School, has emerged victorious in the Jharkhand State Tennis Tournament in the Under-14 category girls’ singles.

The tournament, held on January 24 and 25 in Ranchi, witnessed fierce competition among some of the most skilled young players from across the state.

Kripa, a 7th-standard student, displayed exceptional skill, determination, and composure throughout the tournament. In the final match, she outclassed her opponent securing the championship title. Her powerful serves and strategic gameplay earned her applause from the audience and praise from the coaching staff.

Speaking after her win, Kripa said, “This victory means a lot to me. I want to thank my coaches, my family, and my school for their unwavering support. This motivates me to aim for national-level tournaments.”

The tournament was organized by the Jharkhand State Tennis Association and drew participants from various districts. The event served as a platform to identify and nurture young talent in the region.
