Jamshedpur, Dec 18: Several parts of southern Jharkhand are expected to experience light rain after the next 48 hours, said a forecast issued by IMD’s Ranchi Meteorological Centre.
According to weathermen, East Singhbhum, West Singhbhum and Seraikela-Kharsawan are expected to get rain.
“The state would be under the influence of a cyclonic circulation caused by a passing Western Disturbance and this would cause rain in isolated areas, especially southern Jharkhand,” said a duty officer at Ranchi Meteorological Centre.

The Met centre also extended the alert of moderate to shallow fog in isolated parts of the state in the next 48 hours.
Meanwhile, the minimum temperature witnessed a gradual rise during the past two days. It will continue to rise in the next two days.
Ranchi today recorded a minimum temperature of 9 degrees Celsius while Jamshedpur recorded 9.5 degrees Celsius.
Daltonganj recorded a minimum temperature of 7.5 degrees Celsius while Bokaro recorded 9.2 degrees Celsius today.
