Dhanbad, Sept 27: Light Sindri, a local social organization operating under the banner of Gopali Youth Welfare Society (GYWS), organized a food distribution drive for underprivileged families and individuals in Sindri Premnagar.
The campaign, titled ‘Tripti: Serving Smiles’, aimed to bring happiness to marginalized communities by providing nutritious meals. Nearly 200 people benefited from this initiative.

Volunteers Connect with Beneficiaries
During the drive, volunteers not only served food but also interacted warmly with the recipients, making them feel valued and cared for. “The initiative aimed to spread compassion, empathy, and social responsibility within the community,” said Lucky Kumar, a spokesperson for the organization.

Organizers and Team Effort
The event was coordinated by Amit Kumar Gupta and Sonal Kumari, with team members including Hariom Singh, Risika Gupta, Shashi Kumar, Rohit Kumar, Yashwant Mahali, and Shashikant Yadav contributing to the effort.
