Jamshedpur, Jan 8: The minimum temperature witnessed a fall across Jharkhand today with Ranchi recording 8.8 degrees Celsius.
Jamshedpur today recorded minimum temperature of 12 degrees Celsius while Daltonganj today recorded a minimum temperature of 10.3 degrees Celsius.
Statistics indicated a fall in minimum temperature in most places by at least two degrees Celsius.

Bokaro today recorded a minimum temperature of 11.2 degrees Celsius while Chatra and Dhanbad recorded around 11 degrees Celsius.

The minimum temperature dropped to 10 degrees Celsius at Hazaribagh and Garhwa today while Netarhat area recorded 6.5 degree Celsius.
Jamtara recorded the highest minimum temperature of 14.7 degrees Celsius today.
Weatherman said the minimum temperature is expected to drop further in the next 24 hours.
Satellite pictures indicated a Western disturbance as a trough in middle and upper tropospheric westerlies with its axis at 5.8 Km above mean sea level.
Most districts today woke up to bright weather with a clear sky.
A few isolated places also experienced moderate to dense fog early in the morning today.
