Mumbai, Jan 17: Mumbai Police today detained a suspect connected to the attack on Bollywood actor Sail Ali Khan and brought him to the Bandra police station for questioning. Authorities have retrieved part of the blade used in the attack from Saif’s back and are working to locate the remaining fragment.
Police revealed that the accused who attacked Saif was last spotted near Bandra railway station and is believed to have boarded an early morning local train heading toward Vasai Virar. Search operations are ongoing in Vasai, Nalasopara, and Virar areas to track him down.

Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan was attacked by an intruder at his 11th-floor apartment in Bandra around 2:30 am on Thursday.
The incident began when the intruder confronted the actor’s maid, leading to a violent altercation as Saif attempted to step in. The attacker stabbed Saif multiple times, leaving him injured. He was rushed to Lilavati Hospital, where he underwent surgery and is now in stable condition.
