New Delhi, August 30: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Friday conducted raids in four states as part of an investigation into a Naxal recruitment case involving leaders of the outlawed group, the agency reported.
The raids were carried out in Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, and Delhi.
The ongoing raids, part of case RC-01/2023/NIA-LKW, are aimed at the premises of Naxal cadres and Over Ground Workers (OGWs).

Investigations by the NIA have revealed that various front organizations and student groups are involved in recruiting cadres, promoting Naxal ideology, and planning to incite war against the Government of India.
The NIA stated that the individuals involved conspired to execute acts of terror and violence to achieve this objective.
