Jamshedpur, Dec 15:  The dry north-westerly winds have intensified the chill in Jharkhand.

At several places, the minimum temperature dropped below 10 degrees Celsius.

Places like Daltonganj, Bokaro and Deoghar recorded around 9.5 degrees Celsius in the past 24 hours while Garhwa and Ramgarh recorded around 8 degrees Celsius.

Ranchi recorded around 9 degrees during the past two days while Jamshedpur and its adjoining areas recorded around 12 degrees Celsius.

Wind chart analysis and satellite pictures suggested no significant synoptic situation over Jharkhand.
