Ramgarh, Dec 3: The Punjab Regimental Centre witnessed a proud moment as 962 recruits completed their 31-week rigorous physical and mental training and were formally transformed into trained soldiers during the Passing Out Parade of Agniveer Batch-06.

Commandant Congratulates New Agniveers

The ceremony was reviewed by Col Manvendra Siwach, VSM, Officiating Commandant of the Punjab Regimental Centre. He congratulated the Agniveers and their parents on this significant occasion.

He also praised the training staff and instructors for their dedicated efforts in shaping the youth into capable, responsible, and futuristic soldiers, while instilling the core values of Duty, Discipline and Dedication.

Oath of Allegiance Administered

A key moment of the event was the oath-taking ceremony, where the Agniveers pledged allegiance to the Constitution of India and the nation. They vowed to uphold national security, the honor of the uniform, and the finest traditions of the Indian Army at all times.

Parents Honoured with “Gaurav Padak”

As a mark of respect, recognition, and appreciation, the traditional Gaurav Padak was presented to all parents who willingly encouraged their children to serve the country.
