Police attach property of one of the accused in Jamshedpur’s Mango double murder case

Jamshedpur, Dec 20: Police on Wednesday attached the properties of Sheikh Arshad who is wanted in connection with the double murder case registered with the Mango Thana on December 8.

Two trucks load of household articles, including furniture and electronic gadgets were taken away by a team of police officials from the residential flat of the accused Arshad at Sky Touch Apartment near Chepapul under Azadnagar Thana area in Mango this morning.

The police are likely to attach the property of two more accused wanted in the sensational twin murder case shortly and the two accused in question are Mohammed Kadir and Mohammed Jamshed.

Three accused arrested

One of the accused, Mohammed Moinuddin surrendered in the court on Tuesday whereas the main accused and conspirator, Mohammad Abdulla alias Chowda Raju was had been arrested by railway police from Haldia station last week. Further earlier yet another accused, Sanjay Sarkar had been arrested on December 8, when the twin murder took place.

Mango OC, Vinay Kumar said that though there were six named accused in the case, during the investigation they are finding involvement of more criminals in the twin murder case. He said they would arrest each and every criminal whose involvement comes up in the case.

Land broker, cop shot dead on Dec 8

It may be mentioned here that 40-year-old land broker, Mohammed Sajjad was shot dead by bike-borne criminals at Jawaharnagar in Mango on December 8 forenoon. While trying to apprehend the shooters, a Mobile Tiger (cop-on-bike) Ramdev Mahto was shot by one of the fleeing criminals.

As the administration has taken the murder of the policeman seriously, they are trying to arrest each and every criminal involved in the case.
