One of the key highlights of the workshop was the empowerment activity at the end, where each child demonstrated how to deal with situations and individuals attempting sexual abuse. This hands-on approach ensures that the knowledge gained during the session is not only understood intellectually but is also translated into practical skills that can be applied in real-life scenarios.

This SEC operates under the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives of TSDPL Company, Jamshedpur. Adarsh Seva Sansthan (ASES), the NGO behind the SEC, is dedicated to promoting child rights among urban slum children.

The programme witnessed the active participation of about 100 students, facilitators, teachers and the project coordinator from ASES. The Rotary Club of Jamshedpur Midtown expressed its commitment to organizing such workshops regularly to empower more youth with essential knowledge on personal safety, fostering a safer and more secure environment for the community.
