Ranchi, August 5: Chief Minister Hemant Soren today congratulated the women of Jharkhand by posting on X handle the launch of Jharkhand Mukhyamantri Mainiya Samman Yojana (JMMSY).
He said that he had received information about the initial problems being faced by them in availing the benefits of the scheme. He has given instructions for quick redressal of technical problems coming up regarding the scheme and a meeting of senior officials has also been held regarding this matter.
Due to the enthusiasm being seen regarding the scheme, he has also instructed to increase the number of Pragya Kendras in the entire state.

JMMSY is a permanent scheme
He has said that this is a permanent scheme. “There is no time limit to avail the benefits of the scheme. Even after organizing the special camp, the needy women can avail the benefits of this scheme by visiting their nearest Pragya Kendra. Special camps are being organized till August 10 so that people can easily benefit from the scheme, which has been instructed to be extended by 5 more days. Even after organizing the special camp, they can avail the benefits of the scheme at their convenience whenever they want,” he said.
No middleman required
He said that he has also received information that given the benefits being given to the women under the scheme, some middlemen have also become active in some places. He said that he wants to tell everyone that the entire process of this scheme is free, so be careful of middlemen. “All the district administrations have been instructed that if information about middlemen is received anywhere, then strict action should be taken against them,” he said.
Soren said that this is a scheme for women between the age group of 21 to 50 years. “Lakhs of sisters of the state will get Rs 12 thousand every year. This is the goal of Jharkhand Mukhyamantri Mainiya Samman Yojana (JMMSY), this is also his goal,” he added.
