New Delhi, June 29: The two-day National Executive meeting of the JD(U) started today in Delhi, chaired by Nitish Kumar. During the meeting, JD(U) Rajya Sabha member Sanjay Jha was elected as the working president of the party.

Apart from this, a demand was made to the central government for special status or a special financial package for Bihar.

JD (U) leader Neeraj Kumar while addressing the reporters after the meeting of the National Executive said, two important proposals were passed unanimously in the executive. First, political and second, organisational. The party’s national president and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar made Sanjay Jha the working president.
