Jamshedpur, April 16: The Sanskrit department of Ghatshila-based Sona Devi University will organise a one-day online lecture series on April 25.

The theme of the event is “Greatest Life Values Embedded in the Indian Knowledge Tradition and the Vedas.”
Dr Shailesh Kumar Mishra will be the keynote speaker. Currently an assistant professor at Government Sanskrit College, Ranchi, under Vinoba Bhave University, Dr. Mishra has been honored by the Delhi Sanskrit Academy and the Bhandarkar Oriental Research Institute, Pune.

He has presented papers at over 20 national and international seminars and has published 25 research papers.

A gold medalist in both Sanskrit and Hindi at the postgraduate level, Dr. Mishra has been teaching Sanskrit language and literature for over two decades.
He has authored several books in Sanskrit and Hindi and has edited multiple classical texts.

The information was shared by Dr. Saikat Chakraborty, Head of the Sanskrit Department at Sona Devi University. The lecture series is being coordinated by Assistant Professor Kumari Nikita.
