Jamshedpur, Feb 16: South Eastern Railway (SER) today notified cancellation, diversion and short-termination of trains due to various railway infrastructure development work.
A circular issued by Garden Reach stated that in view of developmental works in the Adra Division of South Eastern Railway, several trains would be cancelled and short-terminated.
Cancellation of Trains
08644/08643 Asansol-Adra-Asansol MEMU Special will remain cancelled on February 21, 22 and 24.
08665/08666 Bhojudih-Chandrapura-Bhojudih MEMU Special will remain cancelled on February 20 and 22.

Short Termination/Short Origination of Trains
08174/08652 Tatanagar-Asansol-Barabhum MEMU Special, journey commencing on February 20 will be short terminated at/short originated from Adra.
18035/18036 Kharagpur-Hatia-Kharagpur Express, journey commencing on February 19 will be short terminated at/short originated from Adra.
08680/08679 Adra-Midnapore-Adra MEMU Special, journey commencing on February 23 will be short terminated at/short originated from Chandrakona Road.
Diversion of Trains
18601 Tatanagar-Hatia Express, journey commencing on February 19, 21 and 23 will run on a diverted route via Chandil-Gunda Bihar-Muri.
Other cancelled Trains
The circular further said that in view of developmental works in the Bilaspur Division of South East Central Railway, 20828 Santragachi-Jabalpur Express will remain cancelled on February 21 while 20827 Jabalpur-Santragachi Express will remain cancelled on February 22.
Meanwhile, due to the work of the third line under the Nagpur division of South East Central Railway, the railway administration has notified cancellation of 13 trains on February 24, 25 and on March 6 and 7.
Railway officials said that the girder launching for the third line will be done in the Gurma-Amgaon area resulting in the cancellation of several trains including Etwari Express, Bilaspur Express and Raigad-Gondia Janshatabadi Express.
