Shaurya Bhattacharya and team win Pro-Am event of Tata Steel Tour Championship

Jamshedpur, Dec 18: Delhi professional Shaurya Bhattacharya and his team performed brilliantly by winning the Pro-Am event of the Tata Steel Tour Championship 2024.

Shaurya led his team to victory in the Pro-Am event with a total score of 52. Shaurya’s team comprised amateur players Shantanu Verma, Tamanna Jeet Singh and Monika Luktuke.

The team of professional player Abhinav Lohan from Faridabad was runner-up. Abhinav’s team comprised amateur players Baljeet Singh, Dheeraj Jha and Nipam Mehta.

The closest to the Pin competition on Hole No. 1 was won by Sarjit Jha, whose tee shot fell three feet from the pin.

The closest to the Pin contest on hole No. 17 was won by Rita Jha, whose tee shot fell 14 feet 8 inches from the pin.

The straight drive competition on hole number 8 was won by  Maya Choudhary, who landed it precisely on the line drawn down the centre of the fairway.

In the straight drive contest on hole no. 14, Gaurav Rungta performed brilliantly and landed it just half an inch from the centre of the fairway.

Gaganjeet Bhullar won the title of the Professional Putting Competition held at JRD Tata Sports Complex.

Gaganjeet Bhullar is also the current champion of the Tata Steel Tour Championship.
