Jamshedpur, Jan 19: Tata Steel has set January 25 as the last date to apply for the positions of Super-Specialists, Specialists and Medical Officers in its Medical Services Department across various locations of Jharkhand and neighbouring Odisha.
Medical Officers, Specialists and Super-Specialists’ positions
Prospective candidates with 0 to 9 years of experience are required for the positions of Medical Officers, Specialists and Super-Specialists in the disciplines of Medicine, Radiology, Haematology, Endocrinology, Nephrology, Neurosurgery, Neurology, Gastroenterology, Ophthalmology (Vitreo-Retinal Surgeon), Otorhinolaryngology, Pathology, Paediatrics, Emergency Medicine/Intensive Care, Ophthalmology, Critical Care Medicine, Surgical Oncology, Psychiatry, Urology, General Surgery, Anaesthesia, Medicine Oncology and Orthopaedics.

Contractual and permanent
The minimum qualification required to apply for the position of Medical Officer is MBBS, while for Specialists, Super-Specialist, the required qualification would be MBBS, DNB/MD/MS, in addition to a mandatory valid medical registration number certificate.
The positions are open on both contractual and permanent basis. Shortlisted candidates shall be invited for interviews either in person or virtually.
A senior official said positions are based out of various operating locations of Tata Steel including Jamshedpur, Jharia, West Bokaro, Noamundi, Joda and Meramandali.
