Jamshedpur, June 20: Tata Steel has unveiled an upgraded version of DigECA, a digital e-commerce platform designed to directly serve Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), classified as Emerging Corporate Accounts (ECA).

The platform now enables MSMEs to transact directly with Tata Steel, offering a seamless and transparent buying experience.

DigECA integrates features such as financing options, order tracking, and one-on-one technical support. It builds on the success of Tata Steel’s B2C portal Aashiyana and focuses on flat products like Tata Astrum, Tata Steelium, and Galvano.

Since its pilot in Q4 FY25, over 2,000 ECA customers have joined the platform, marking substantial growth in Gross Merchandise Value (GMV).

Prabhat Kumar, Vice President – Marketing & Sales (Flat Products), stated, “We aim to simplify the steel buying journey for our MSME partners through digital innovation. DigECA deepens our customer relationships and aligns our offerings with evolving business needs.”

With this launch, Tata Steel further solidifies its position as a digital pioneer in the steel industry, ensuring MSMEs receive efficient service, full visibility, and continuous support in their growth journey.
