Jamshedpur, July 4: Tata Steel’s chess team clinched the title at the prestigious Steel Plant Sports Board (SPSB) Chess Championship, held in Bhilai from July 1 to 3.
The tournament featured nine steel plants from across the country, hosted by Bhilai Steel Plant.

Exhibiting outstanding strategy and coordination, the Tata Steel team outshone formidable opponents, including IISCO Burnpur, RINL, Rourkela, Durgapur, Bhilai, JSW, Salem, and VISP to secure the top spot.
