Dhanbad, Jan 15: The Railway Protection Force (RPF), Dhanbad post, arrested three youth from the Wasseypur area under Bank More police station for pelting stones at the Sealdah–New Delhi Rajdhani Express, within 24 hours of the incident.

RPF Inspector Ajay Prakash said the arrested youth were identified as Prince Khan (25), Rahul Kumar Yadav (25), and Raju Kumar Choudhary (26). All three are residents of the Wasseypur area, living close to the railway track under the jurisdiction of Bank More police station.

Incident Details

During interrogation, the accused admitted to pelting stones at the Sealdah–New Delhi Rajdhani Express near Bhuli station on January 13.

As a result of the stone pelting, the window glass of berth number 23 in A-4 coach of the train developed a crack. The accused confessed that they had thrown four stones, which struck different parts of the train.
