The prevailing conditions are attributed to an east-west trough extending from a cyclonic circulation over Punjab to east Bangladesh, passing through Haryana, Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand, and Sub-Himalayan West Bengal & Sikkim at 0.9 Km above mean sea level.

Additionally, a trough in the middle tropospheric westerlies, located at 5.8 km above sea level, persists along Longitude 82°E, north of Latitude 25°N.

People have been advised to remain alert, especially in vulnerable areas, and take necessary precautions during this period of turbulent weather.
