Jamshedpur, April 16: A significant change in weather patterns is anticipated in Jharkhand and several other areas of eastern and central India over the coming days, as multiple atmospheric systems begin to influence the region.

According to meteorological updates, a Western Disturbance observed as a trough in the middle to upper tropospheric levels is currently stretching from North Bihar to North Coastal Andhra Pradesh, passing through Jharkhand and Odisha.
The axis of this disturbance lies around 5.8 Km above mean sea level.

In addition, a secondary trough linked to a cyclonic circulation over northeast Madhya Pradesh is extending from central South Madhya Pradesh to South Gangetic West Bengal, affecting areas including Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, and Odisha, and reaching up to 1.5 Km above mean sea level.

Due to the interaction of these systems, the region is likely to experience thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and gusty winds with speeds ranging from 30-40 Kmph, gusting up to 50 Kmph.
This activity is expected to occur at isolated places across the state between April 16 and April 19.
