New Delhi, May 1: Ahead of the third phase of the Lok Sabha elections, actress Rupali Ganguly joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Wednesday in Delhi.
“When I see this ‘Mahayagya’ of development, I feel I should also participate. I need your blessings and support so that whatever I do, I do it right and good,” Ganguly said after joining the BJP.
At the party’s New Delhi headquarters, Ganguly joined the BJP in the presence of a number of senior party officials, including Anil Baluni, the national media in-charge of the party.

Ganguly was welcomed into the party by BJP National General Secretary Vinod Tawde.
Ganguly remarked that PM Modi is the figurehead who draws people to the BJP.
“His working style, personality and the way he has taken our country towards development – every Indian wants to join ‘Modi Sena’ and contribute to the country and I also felt the same and hence I joined BJP,” she stated.
