Jamshedpur, Dec 4: Bikram Keshari Das, the new permanent finance director of Uranium Corporation of India Limited (UCIL), will assume office later this month.
Das who has 27 years of experience in the power and mining sector will replace Sharda Bhushan Mahanty, the company’s finance director in-charge who has been appointed chairman-cum-managing director of IREL Company, Mumbai.
Prior to this, Das held the post of general manager (Finance) at NLC India Limited, Tamil Nadu.

He has been made the new finance director of UCIL following his appointment from the Public Enterprises Selection Board.
The new finance director has a very good exposure to the Electricity Act 2003 and tariff regulations.
Sources said he is a strategy-driven professional and understands the company’s vision to make strategic decisions for making an organisation lean cost and profitable.
