Jamshedpur, March 26: Chaibasa in the neighbouring West Singhbhum presented a great opportunity for art lovers and artists, as the Ministry of Culture, Government of India is organising a three-day cultural festival “Octave 2025”.

The festival is being organized at the Singhbhum Sports Association Ground, Chaibasa, where artists and craftsmen from eight northeastern states of the country are showcasing their art, culture and traditions.
The aim of this grand event is to showcase the rich cultural heritage of Northeast India and promote cultural exchange between different states.

The festival is showcasing live performances of traditional folk dances, music, costumes, food, handicrafts and other arts, which will give visitors an opportunity to understand the diversity of Northeast India closely.

At the festival, folk artists from Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Tripura and Sikkim are performing their special traditional dances and music.
Through these performances, the audience is getting a glimpse of the culture and folk arts of those states.
Such events play an important role in strengthening the cultural unity and diversity of the country.
“Octave -2025”, is a confluence of different cultures which is promoting national unity and mutual harmony,” said an official of the Ministry of Culture.
