Jamshedpur, April 14: XLRI Delhi-NCR hosted its 4th Annual Convocation at its scenic Jhajjar campus, celebrating the academic milestones and future aspirations of its graduating cohort.

The ceremony marked a pivotal moment in the institution’s commitment to nurturing ethical, forward-thinking leaders.
A total of 221 students received their diplomas this year. Among them, 178 graduated from the Post Graduate Diploma in Management – Business Management (PGDM-BM), while 43 completed the Post Graduate Diploma in Management – Innovation, Entrepreneurship & Venture Development (PGDM-IEV).

Keynote Address and Recognition of Industry Excellence
The convocation was graced by Bhargav Dasgupta, Vice President (Market Solutions) at the Asian Development Bank, Manila, who delivered the keynote address as the chief guest. In his speech, he underscored the growing need for value-driven leadership and the courage to embrace innovation in an ever-evolving global landscape. In recognition of his industry achievements, Dasgupta was conferred the esteemed Fr. E. Abraham Medal for Management & Industrial Development.
Addressing the gathering, Fr. K. S. Casimir, Director of XLRI Delhi-NCR, reflected on the deeper meaning of the convocation. “This is more than a ceremony — it’s a tribute to commitment, resilience, and vision,” he said, expressing confidence in the graduates’ ability to uphold the XLRI ethos in their professional journeys.
Top Graduates Awarded for Academic Achievements
Academic excellence was celebrated through a series of honors awarded to top-performing students. In the PGDM-BM program, Ishaan Shekhar was named Best All-round Student, Divija Maddela earned the Medal for Highest CQPI among Women Students, and Arpan Roy was recognized for Highest CQPI – BM. Among the PGDM-IEV graduates, Akash Subramanian was honored as Best All-round Student, while Sree Manjari Gumireddy received the Medal for Highest CQPI – IEV.
This convocation also coincided with a successful placement season across XLRI’s Jamshedpur and Delhi-NCR campuses.

Successful Placement Season
A total of 591 students participated in the recruitment drive, receiving over 600 job offers — including two international ones — from 172 recruiters. Industries such as consulting, BFSI, FMCG, tech, and e-commerce were well represented, with 34.17% of students securing Pre-Placement Offers (PPOs), highlighting growing industry faith in XLRI talent.
The ceremony concluded with the conferral of diplomas and medals.
