Jamshedpur, May 29: XLRI, Jamshedpur, successfully hosted its annual flagship recruiters’ conclave,  Rendezvous with XLRI – Bengaluru 2025, at Taj MG Road, Bengaluru.

This high-impact event brought together leading corporate executives, senior HR professionals, XLRI alumni, and academicians for an evening of thought leadership and strategic dialogue on the evolving world of work.

The keynote address was delivered by C Lakshmi, Senior Managing Director and CHRO, Accenture, who graced the event as chief guest.

In her address, she emphasized the urgent need for organizations and educational institutions to reimagine talent models and reskill the workforce in response to tech-led workplace transformations.

“The responsibility of shaping tomorrow’s workforce lies equally with corporate houses and premier educational institutions like XLRI,” she noted.

A panel discussion followed, centred on the theme “Future of Work, Skills and Talent in an Indian Perspective.”

The panel featured a distinguished lineup of thought leaders: Preetha Radhakrishnan, Partner, Deloitte; Prateek Roy Chowdhury, Senior HR Leader; Ajay Kr, Founder, Thoucentric; Ranjita Ghosh, Global CMO, Wipro

The panel explored Gen Z workforce expectations, the rapidly evolving skillscape, and new-age leadership strategies in hybrid work environments.

The event was conceptualized and hosted by XLRI Jamshedpur under the leadership of Prof. Kanagaraj A, Senior Professor of Finance & Convenor – Placements.

In his welcome address, Prof. Kanagaraj showcased XLRI’s legacy of academic excellence and its diverse portfolio of programs.

Prof. Kanagaraj extended a warm invitation to all attendees to engage in the Summer Internship and Final Placement processes for PGDM (BM), PGDM (HRM), and GMP cohorts, reinforcing XLRI’s mission to develop industry-ready and socially responsible leaders.
