Jamshedpur, Feb 23: Jamshedpur East MLA Saryu Roy has strongly criticized BJP officials for derogatory remarks against Bengal IPS Jaspreet Singh, labelling him as a Khalistani while carrying out his duties in Sandeshkhali.

Saryu expressed his disapproval, stating that the Leader of the Opposition in Bengal has demeaned the Sikh community within the Bengal cadre during their duty.

Roy calls for BJP’s central leadership to condemn racist remarks

Addressing the issue, Roy asserted that if an IPS officer is unjustly labelled as a Khalistani, an immediate retraction and apology to the nation are warranted. He called upon the central leadership to provide clear instructions in this matter.
