Ranchi, May 25: Former Team India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni cast his vote with his family on Saturday in Ranchi. He cast his vote along with his entire family at the polling booth in JVM Shyamali.

He was also accompanied by his wife Sakshi Dhoni. Around 12 pm, MS Dhoni along with his parents and wife reached the polling booth at JVM Shyamali and exercised his franchise.

Dhoni and his family voted in booth number 378. As soon as Mahendra Singh Dhoni and his family members reached the polling booth to vote, the people present there surrounded them.

However, he did not talk to anyone while going to vote or while coming out after voting.

The four seats in Jharkhand participating in the sixth phase of the Lok Sabha elections are Ranchi, Dhanbad, Giridih, and Jamshedpur.

In the midst of strict security and preparations, voting for the sixth round of the ongoing Lok Sabha elections commenced on Saturday morning across 58 parliamentary constituencies dispersed among six states and two Union Territories (UTs).

The sixth phase of the Lok Sabha elections covers eight seats in Bihar, all 10 seats in Haryana, one seat in Jammu and Kashmir, four seats in Jharkhand, all seven seats in Delhi, six seats in Odisha, 14 seats in Uttar Pradesh, and eight seats in West Bengal. There are 889 candidates competing in this phase.
