Daltonganj, June 14: Girl students of the Medinirai Medical College here in Daltonganj scripted history when they outnumbered the medical boys in donating blood today, Global Blood Donation Day.
Dr Jitender Kumar said our girl students did wonderful. Faculty members and staff too came forward to donate blood today.
36 plus units of blood were collected today, he said. There was a great sense of love for humanity here today among the blood donors.
In this extreme weather condition, such a collection of units of blood in the medical college here under the stewardship of Dr Jitender Kumar and his team is something very remarkable.
