Ramgarh, July 11: Kargil Vijay Diwas is celebrated every year on July 26 to commemorate the victory over Pakistan in the Kargil War of 1999.

On this occasion of the 25th anniversary of Kargil Vijay Diwas, an outreach programme under the aegis of J & B Sub Area is being organised for the welfare of ex-servicemen, veterans and ex-servicemen of district Godda by the Punjab Regimental Centre.

The contingent was flagged off by Brig Sanjay Chandra Kandpal, Commandant, Punjab Regimental Centre at 10 AM on 11 Jul 2024.

This team will be active from July 14 in the district. Complaints and grievances of all ex-servicemen and Veterans will be addressed.

This programme is being organised to provide other valuable information related to pension and facilities available after retirement to the ex-servicemen.
