Jamshedpur, July 29: Transform Rural India (TRI) will hold the fourth edition of India Rural Colloquy, a conversation that sparks real, actionable ideas and solutions to bring about a rural renaissance.
The panel discussion will take place at Chanakya BNR, Ranchi on August 2.
The dignitaries to be present at the event include Dipak Birua, minister, department of SC, ST, minority and backward caste, Jharkhand and Irfan Ansari, state rural development and Panchayati Raj minister.
Issues in focus at panel discussion
The panel discussions will focus on evolving rural aspirations and long-term strategies for flourishing rural Jharkhand, ensuring equitable, economically viable, and environmentally sustainable development.

Other key discussions will be on unleashing Jharkhand’s youth potential for rural growth and prosperity, including creating an actionable framework to leverage the youthful demographics of Jharkhand and planning steps for stakeholders to invest in youth capabilities.
The event will also feature the promotion of technologies curated for rural populations, facilitated by IIT Mumbai and TRI, and the launch of the Birsa Harit Fund for the Birsa Harit Gram Yojana participating farmers.
About 4th edition of India Rural Colloquy
The fourth edition of the India Rural Colloquy 2024, organized by Transform Rural India, is a series of conversations and events held from August 1-8 across Delhi, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand, and Chhattisgarh, aimed at inspiring a rural renaissance.
In this edition, the Colloquy gathers diverse voices from civil society, government, and business to inspire ideas and actionable solutions for rural development. Hosted during the August Kranti week, the Colloquy echoes the spirit of change and action of India’s largest people-power movement.
The aim is to foster dialogue among decision-makers in India on issues specific to the heartlands.
