The chief minister stated that the party’s performance in the Lok Sabha election was just a trailor and claimed that the real performance will reflect in the ensuing assembly elections only.

Issue of unemployment

Later while replying the queries by the newsmen, Hemant Soren claimed that measures are being taken for providing employment to the jobless youths.

It may be mentioned here that it was the 37th martyr day of Saheed Nirmal Mahto, a day which assumes significance because on this only the top functionaries of the party take resolution for what they would do for the development of Jharkhand.

Moreover, in 2019 when the JMM-led coalition government had come to power, Hemant Soren had boasted that his government would provide one lakh employments every year while pledging before Saheed Nirmal Mahto’s Samadhi Sthal. But nothing of the sort could be seen during this period.

Significantly, Champai Soren remained conspicuously absent when Hemant Soren came to the Saheed Nirmal Mahto’s Samadhi Sthal for paying the tribute. Otherwise, the ex-chief minister would always accompany either Dishom guru Shibu Soren or Hemant Soren on such occasion.
