Jharkhand CM tells officials to ensure all facilities for Chhath devotees

Chief Minister Hemant Soren inspecting the cleanliness and security and other arrangements and facilities at Hataniya Talab Ghat in connection with the Chhath festival of public faith and worship which started today.

Ranchi, Nov 17: Chief Minister Hemant Soren today inspected the cleanliness, security and other arrangements of Kanke Dam and Hataniya Talab Chhath Ghats.

He instructed the officials to keep all the Chhath Ghats clean and safe. The chief minister asked to identify the places with water level and depth in rivers, ponds, dams and other reservoirs and make special security arrangements there and make arrangements for electricity at all the ghats.

He told the officials that the fasting people and devotees should get complete facilities at Chhath Ghats. They were asked to make sure at all costs that they do not face any kind of problem.

During the chief minister’s inspection, CM’s Secretary Vinay Kumar Choubey, Senior Superintendent of Police Chandan Kumar Sinha, Ranchi Municipal Corporation Administrator Amit Kumar and other officials were present.
