Ramgarh, August 23: Unidentified miscreants broke into the SBI Bank ATM at Bazar Tand in Ramgarh, looting Rs 1.31 lakh. The incident took place in a densely populated area where vehicles and people are active 24 hours a day.
The thieves allegedly conducted a thorough recce before the crime, ensuring the area was secure. Upon arrival, they turned the external security camera away from the ATM and, after gaining entry, damaged the internal camera using gas to avoid being recorded.

The criminals then used a gas cutter to melt and open the ATM’s locker, making off with the entire sum of Rs 1.31 lakh.
The crime was discovered early the next morning when the landlord came down and found the ATM severely damaged, with the cash box wide open. He immediately informed the Ramgarh police, who arrived at the scene and began investigating.
The police are currently examining CCTV footage from the surrounding area and employing technological tools to identify and apprehend the suspects.
