Jamshedpur, September 12: The festive spirit of Ganesh Utsav came alive as Sankalp Residency, located on Jugsalai ME School Road, hosted a vibrant Dandiya Night as part of its seven-day celebrations.
The evening, filled with music, dance, and fun, saw women and their husbands dressed in traditional Gujarati attire, twirling to the rhythm of dandiya sticks under a sky illuminated with colorful lights.
Adding to the festive atmosphere, renowned local singer Monu Sharma enthralled the crowd with soul-stirring renditions of traditional songs, perfectly setting the tone for the evening.

Winners of competitions felicitated
The beats of the dhol, the clinking of dandiya sticks, and the graceful movements of the dancers created an electric atmosphere that resonated with the joy of the Ganesh Utsav. The participants were also felicitated based on their performance.
The night wasn’t just about dancing—fun competitions added to the excitement. Winners of engaging contests like Eat & Run, Sit & Draw, Spoon & Marble Race, the innovative No-Fire Cooking Contest, and the lively Party Makeup Contest were also felicitated. The contests brought out the best of creativity and friendly competition among participants, and each winner was celebrated with much enthusiasm.
