Ahmedabad, September 16: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday inaugurated the second phase of the Ahmedabad Metro Rail Extension.
The Gujarat Metro Rail Corporation (GMRC), in partnership with both the Government of Gujarat and the Central government, developed the second phase of the metro rail network.
Following the inauguration, Prime Minister Modi, joined by Gujarat Governor Acharya Devvrat and Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, rode the metro from Section 1 Metro Station to GIFT City Metro Station.
