Jamshedpur, Oct 26: Naval Tata Hockey Academy, Jamshedpur (NTHA) bagged the silver medal in the 52nd Nehru Junior Hockey Tournament Under-17 held at the Shivaji Hockey Stadium in New Delhi.
In a thrilling final match, NTHA emerged as a strong opponent against Madhya Pradesh Hockey Academy but lost with a score of 3-1.
Twelve prominent teams from different parts of India participated in this national tournament. Amit of Naval Tata Hockey Academy received the Player of the Match honour in the final match.

Under the able guidance of coach Vikas Pant and manager Vikas Joshi, NTHA players put up a unique and impressive performance.
The determination of the players and the strategic vision of their coach and manager were clearly visible as they struggled to clinch the medals.
Notably, NTHA is continuously working towards nurturing young hockey talent and promoting hockey in Jharkhand, committed to unleashing the potential of every athlete.
The silver medal further cements their reputation in junior hockey and reflects the consistency and hard work put in by the academy in developing top-level players.
