SUBHASH MISHRA

Dhanbad, Nov 9: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi announced that the I.N.D.I.A will break the 50% reservation barrier in job quota and increase it for tribal, Dalit and backward classes in Jharkhand.

The Cong leader, who was addressing an election rally in support of party candidates at Matigarha, around 40 km away from Dhanbad district headquarters on Saturday afternoon, said that if the Cong and JMM alliance comes to power in Jharkhand reservation quota for tribals will be increased from 26 to 28,  for Dalit from 10 to 12 %, and for backward classes from 14 to 27 %.

Reiterating the elections bonanza for the people of Jharkhand said that Rs 25,00  cash would be given in the account of women per month, an LPG cylinder at Rs 450, 7 kg food grains and others if INDI Alliance voted to power, Rahul Gandhi said that his government would distribute poor people the as much amount as  Narendra Modi has written off  Ambani and  Adani.

Making scathing attacks on Prime Minister Narendra Modi, leader of the opposition in Lok Sabha said that GST is the mechanism of the PM to steal money from poor people.  Adani pays tax as much as poor people also pay but Adani has been given the land of Rs 1 lakh crore in Dharavi, he added.

“No tribal, Dalit, farmer, labour or backward classes people can be seen in government and private offices, institutions, judiciary, hospitals TV debate across the country.  Labours build buildings but they can’t go in them.   I have to change this system and that could be possible by conducting a caste census in the country,” he said.

Rahul Gandhi said that no one has seen Narendra Modi hugging poor people or farmers. He did not attend the marriage of poor people but attended Ambani, Tata, and Adani’s marriage ceremony.

Criticising the poor presence of tribals, Dalits and backward class officers presence in bureaucracy, Rahul Gandhi said that in Jharkhand 90 officers allocate the welfare fund in which tribals, Dalits and backward class officers have a nominal say in decisions.

Jharkhand Cong in-charge Ghulam Ahmad Mir, state president Keshav Mahto Kamlesh, former president  Rajesh Thakur, Bengal Cong’s senior leader Adhir Ranjan Choudhari,  state vice-president Brajendra Prasad Singh, district president Santosh Singh, Cong Baghmara candidate Jaleshwar Mahto,  Dhanbad sadar candidate Ajay Dubey, sharia candidate Purnima Singh were also present.
