Dumka, Nov 14: The campaign for the second phase of elections has gained momentum. Chief Minister Hemant Soren, addressing election rallies in Dumka and Sarath constituencies on Thursday, attacked the BJP.
Hemant Soren said that the whole country’s bird catchers, thieves of the whole country, who steal MLAs and MPs, are roaming in Jharkhand. Their Chief Ministers of many states, the Prime Minister himself and the Home Minister have set up camp here.
He added that for the past five years, these people have been targeting a tribal leader but haven’t been able to harm even a hair on his head. “Frustrated, they have now used constitutional institutions against me after failing in the political arena,” he said.
Hemant Soren stated that these dishonest people have never stood with the people of the state in their times of joy or sorrow.

“They have no concern for the youth, women, farmers, tribals, Dalits, or the poor. Ask them how much they have reduced the economic burden on people’s shoulders in the last 20 years under BJP and NDA rule. Such people should be bundled up and thrown into Gujarat,” he remarked.
Soren continued his attack, saying, “In their state, tribal women are being humiliated, and they are watching silently. Under their governance, farmers were driven to suicide, and people starved. However, under the Mahagathbandhan government, farmers’ loans of up to two lakh rupees were waived, outstanding electricity bills were forgiven, and pensions were provided to all elderly citizens. The Mahagathbandhan government has worked to empower the poor and underprivileged.”
The Chief Minister further stated, “In their state, employees do not receive pensions, but in Jharkhand, we have implemented the old pension scheme for our employees and the lawyers of the state have been given respect in the form of pension. Women are receiving honorarium payments, which have now been increased from Rs. 1,000 to Rs. 2,500 starting from December. In the future, we will work to ensure that every family receives financial assistance of up to five lakh rupees.”
